Do I need to leave my Koofr app open when I am waiting for my files/folders to be uploaded on an iOS/Android device?
iOS: Yes, the Koofr app needs to be open on your phone, so the files can upload. It is not possible to upload the files if the Koofr app is only open in the background. iOS does not allow that.
Android: No, the Koofr app can upload your files in the background, while you are doing other things.
Note for both iOS and Android users: Running the initial upload of media files might take some time, depending on your network speed and the number of your media files. To make the initial backup run faster, we recommend you plug your phone in an outlet, connect it to a wi-fi network, and letting it do the backup in full.
